It is the story of Munna, called as Balram by some and as Ashok Sharma by his employer and colleagues. This book is thrilling and starts with Balram as Ashok Sharma writing to Primier Jiabao of China. In it is the description of Balram's life of ups and downs. From the darkness (village) he goes to DELHI as a driver and looks at a typical urban lifestyle
from behind a wheel of Honda City. He does not acts like other drivers. He always thinks high and aims high and finally ends up setting up a taxi service company (having murdered his ex- employer) in the brightness (city). The author seems quite frank and open to use certain words.
It is a great privilege that an Indian author won MAN BOOKER prize(2008) for his first ever book!
The book tickles the funny bone of its readers. It also unwinds two kinds of India- the darkness and the brightness. It is a must read book.

THE MONK WHO SOLD HIS FERRARI
PUBLISHER-Jaico books                                                              AUTHOR-Robin Sharma
                                                                                                REVIEWED BY-P.Saranya(X B)

The book leadership wisdom written by Robin Sharma has taken a real life path. The author did his best job to enlighten the leadership wisdom in everybody. The teaching of the monk seems to be the best teachings in this world. The way he teaches and the examples given by him are just adorable. He taught his friend, Peter, how to become a good leader and how to pave his way to highest peak in the business world. Leadership is not only important for business people but also for everyone. His teaching with a cup of coffee is the best of all.
As it is said that one best book is equal to hundred libraries, this book has proved that this is one of the bests. I am sure this book must have illuminated many business men lives but I personally feel that this book which everyone must read and learn a lot of things. There is nothing which is related only to business men or business women, even a teenager can learn many things from it. This book and way of teaching rituals by monk can illuminate even a child's life. The way of teachings rituals by monk has a different path. The author ensured that the language is simple and understandable to everyone.
